A Salsa with a KICK!
Serving Size: 4 Portions
Ingredients:
Tomatoes: 3
Garlic Cloves: 2
Green Chillies: 4
Dried Red Chilly: 2
Lime: 2
Coriander/Cilantro - 8-10 stems
White/Red Onion: 1/4
Salt and Pepper to Taste
Instructions:
Char the Tomatoes, Garlic and Red Chilly over a fire or a really hot pan/grill.
Let it cool.
Add the charred ingredients to a molcajete/mortar and pestle/blender.
Add the green chillies and coriander along with salt and pepper.
Blend them up till you get the right consistency.
Add Lime Juice
Top with chopped onions [optional]
